QoQ I'm back TTwTT I'm so happy to be back!

Wow... this is the first thing I've uploaded in what? at least three months? I feel so incomplete inside...
It's actually somewhat strange that this is the piece I finished first of all the ones I had been working on before hiatus... Because all the other pieces I was doing I had planned out before and they had special meanings to them and were very detailed. And then one day while I was super stressed for school and I wanted to take a break from all the really detailed pieces I was doing, I just started doodling some of my favorite characters sitting together looking happy, and it ended up being one of the most time consuming things I've done D:
Seriously, it took me so much longer than it should have because I wanted it to be perfect ;;OTL I re-drew every single character's hair at least three times in completely different styles before deciding on that.
That being said... I'm still not sure about the hair, or just the coloring in general. I'm still relatively new to topic markers, which were my first real attempt at coloring ever. And I'm learning new things with every picture, but I'm still not where I think I should be.
I tried a very different style for this one, with much subtler blending on the clothing and hair, and while I like the clothing (despite a lot of my subtleties being lost in translation) I'm not sure how I feel about the hair... I must keep experimenting.
I'm also not sure about the paper I'm using in general. With the last paper I used, the ink sort of soaked into the paper and I like the way it felt a lot, but with this paper it sits on top like paint and while I sometimes like the way that feels, it make blending very hard and ends up with that very strange super grainy texture... but I don't have that much to compare it to since I'm new to all this...

Anyway, about the actual picture (ahaha no one is actually going to read all of this ), I've always loves Sailor Moons hair, so I wanted to use that to sort of unite them all and symbolize their friendship. So I drew her hair spreading across to all of them. I wanted them to seem casual, so I drew them in their school uniforms as depicted in the manga. And of course, I threw in Luna and Artemis too.

Very nice.

Hmm, have you ever tried doing a civilian drawing of the Oppositio Senshi, the anti-hero scouts?
